The final week of the regular season is here. Some teams are playing for pride, while others are fighting for district championships and playoff spots. The BGC Road Trip is never a dull moment.
Game 1: Lockhart Lions (3-6, 1-5 District 26-5A) at Tivy Antlers (7-2, 5-1 District 26-5A). Lockhart is out of the postseason picture. Tivy is locked into the second seed in 26-5A and is looking to win its sixth straight game heading into the postseason.
Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. Friday at Antler Stadium.
Game 2: Johnson City Eagles (5-3, 2-2 District 13-3A-II) versus Comfort Bobcats (2-7, 1-3 District 13-3A-II). Johnson City is playing for seeding. Comfort did not qualify for the postseason and will try to end the regular season on a high note.
Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. Friday at Bobcat Stadium.
Game 3: Seguin Matadors (2-7, 1-5 District 26-5A) at Boerne Champion Chargers (4-5, 3-3 District 26-5A). Seguin failed to make the playoffs. Champion is currently fifth in 26-5A and needs a win, plus some help to earn a postseason berth. The top four teams make the playoffs.
Kick is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday at Boerne ISD Stadium.
