San Antonio Missions announce new Major League Baseball partner Missions partner with Milwaukee Brewers organization No description found
SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Missions on Tuesday announced their new Major League Baseball partner to kick off the team's Triple-A era in 2019.
The Missions agreed to partner with the Milwaukee Brewers through 2020. The Colorado Springs Sky Sox will relocate to San Antonio next year and play their first game under the Missions' name on April 4 in Oklahoma City.
Brewers officials toured the facility and discussed clubhouse and batting cage renovation plans with the Missions' staff last week.
The Colorado Springs team went 73-66 during its 2017-2018 season, ending 1 1/2 games from a division title.
San Antonio's new Triple-A team will have its first homestand April 9.
