Carly is a three-year member of the varsity volleyball team. She was ranked number one in assists, number four for digs and number five for kills in District 27-5A her junior season. She was named First-Team All-District her senior year. Carly maintains a 3.7 GPA and is ranked in the top 35% of her class. Carly plans to play collegiate volleyball after high school and major in Business.
WHAT MEMORIES DO YOU TAKE AWAY WITH YOU AS YOU LEAVE HIGH SCHOOL?
”My fondest memories of high school has to be my perfect junior season. It was just a great ride, it was great academically as well. The team and the coaches were a lot of fun.”
WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR YOUR FELLOW STUDENTS?
”Make sure to stay ahead of your work. It’s easier to be ahead than to fall behind so make sure you put school first. Being a student athlete helps you learn time management. It also helps you learn to make sure you are on top of your game, academically and athletically.”
WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER YOU GRADUATE HIGH SCHOOL?
“I want to go to college to study Business and I plan to pursue my volleyball career.”
