Vassell has been bothered by soreness in his left knee that has forced him to miss three out of the last four games, most recently in the 117-114 loss to the Knicks in New York on Wednesday.

It is believed to be a minor procedure even though there is no timetable given for his return.

In his absence, expect more playing time for Romeo Langford and Malaki Branham.
