Jalen is a three year member of the varsity basketball team where he was named First-Team All-District his junior season. He also played varsity football. Jalen is a member of the Drama Club and performs community service through a local nursing home. Jalen maintains a 3.7 GPA and is ranked 21st in his class. Jalen plans to attend college and major in Sports Management.
WHAT MEMORIES DO YOU TAKE AWAY WITH YOU AS YOU LEAVE HIGH SCHOOL?
“My most favorite memory of high school is scoring 31 points against Lanier High School. That was the first time I had 31 points in a high school basketball game. I feel I played my best that game and played to my full potential.”
WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR YOUR FELLOW STUDENTS?
“Stay motivated and develop a relationship with your teachers. Always make time for your work.”
WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER YOU GRADUATE HIGH SCHOOL?
“I plan to continue to play basketball, go to college and major in sports management.”
