SAN ANTONIO – Typically, there is not much to celebrate after San Antonio’s 121-105 Wednesday loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, which was the Spurs’ third in a row.
Little did guard Devin Vassell know a 27-foot three-pointer in the first quarter etched him into franchise history.

That shot was Vassell’s 500th made three-pointer of his Spurs career, making him the fastest Spur to reach that mark (261 games as a Spur).

The Spurs are preparing to take on the Los Angeles Lakers at 9:30 p.m. Saturday in Los Angeles. It is unclear if that game will be rescheduled due to ongoing wildfires in the area.
