The Dynamo finished fifth in the MLS Western Conference standings last season.

Then, on Feb. 1 and 8, SAFC will play two university squads: Southern Methodist University and the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio.

SAFC will finish out February at USL League Two side Corpus Christi FC and then return to San Antonio to play Copa Tejas rival El Paso Locomotive.

The team’s final match is at home on March 1 against the Houston Dynamo 2, a reserve squad for the main team.

All home matches during the preseason will be closed to the public, according to an SAFC news release.

The only match open to the public will be against El Paso and for season ticket holders only. To purchase season tickets, click here.

SAFC is entering its 10th anniversary season after hiring a new coach after the club mutually parted ways with Alen Marcina in October.

In December, the club announced the hiring of Carlos Llamosa, who made 181 appearances across four MLS teams in an 18-year playing career. Llamosa was capped by the United States 29 times from 1998 to 2002.

SAFC will then open the 2025 USL Championship regular season at home against Monterey Bay F.C. on Saturday, March 8.
