SAN ANTONIO – The Brackenridge Eagles are looking to contend once again in the tough District 28-5A.
Brack finished second last season in the district and return eight starters from a team that made the playoffs last season.
Head coach Willie Hall will lean on his offense to start the season.
Eagles quarterback Vince Gonzalez accounted for 10 touchdowns and 947 passing yards last season.
Brackenridge will open its season on the road Sept. 1 against the Somerset Bulldogs.
