CONVERSE, Texas – The Judson Rockets are primed for another run at a 6A state championship.
Judson returns 16 starters from a team that went 9-3 last season and had a controversial playoff loss to Austin Westlake.
One of those starters is quarterback Julon Williams, one of the most highly recruited players in the state.
Williams is dual-threat quarterback who combined for more than 2,000 total yards and 26 touchdowns.
Williams leads a talented backfield that includes Rashad Wisdom, Sincere McCormick and Jay Miller.

Defensive back Chris Mills has also become one of top recruits in the San Antonio area.
Judson is expecting big things this season and will face a tough test right out of the gate with a statewide televised game against defending state champion Lake Travis.
