The Navy All-American Bowl, an annual showcase of the nation’s top 100 high school football players, is a fitting stage for recognizing Hill’s contributions to the sport.

Back in late December, Hill and his Rangers defeated Dallas Highland Park 32-20 to win the UIL Class 5A Division I State Championship Game.

Coach Hill was also selected to lead the West squad in this year’s Navy All-American Bowl. Dick Beck of North Penn High School in Lansdale, Pa, will head up the East team.

The other finalists this year are:

  • Former NFL quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, Miami Northwestern Senior High School, Miami, Florida
  • Ray Gates, North Crowley High School, Fort Worth, Texas
  • Raul Lara, Mater Dei High School, Santa Ana, California
  • Ben Reaves Jr., Milton High School, Milton, Georgia

The winner will be announced during the 2025 Navy All-American Bowl awards show on Jan. 10.

The game itself is on Saturday, Jan. 11, at 12 p.m. CST at the Alamodome.
