Kawhi Leonard is not expected to play in Game 2, Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said Monday.

The San Antonio Spurs Monday spoke about Kawhi Leonard’s injury and their Game 1 loss to the Warriors.
Leonard reinjured his left ankle in the third quarter of Sunday’s Western Conference Finals opener.
He was forced to leave the game with the Spurs ahead of Golden State 78-55.
The Spurs were outscored by 25 points after Leonard left the court and lost 113-111.
At the time of the injury, Leonard had scored 26 points and added eight rebounds.
The Spurs allowed Golden State to go on an 18-0 after Leonard’s injury.
Leonard reportedly underwent an MRI Sunday night to determine the status of the injury. The results have not been released.
Leonard spoke to the media after the game in the locker room and was asked about the severity of the injury.
“Not sure, just very painful because I tweaked it before, and the last time, the last shot I shot,” Leonard said. "But it’s hard to tell right now, I definitely couldn’t go in that last third quarter.”
Game 2 is Tuesday evening at Oracle Arena in Oakland.
