He ranked 11th in the NBA in three-point field goal percentage last season and tied Kawhi Leonard with a team-high 147 made three-pointers.
Mills averaged 10.3 points per game in last season’s playoffs while playing a playoff career-high 26 minutes per game.
He started six postseason games after Tony Parker suffered a season-ending leg injury.
Mills is a valuable member of the Spurs bench and a popular teammate in the locker room.
Mills initially signed with San Antonio in March 2012 and was drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers in 2009.
