Spurs announce Kawhi Leonard will sit out preseason as he recovers from injury

SAN ANTONIO – The Spurs announced Saturday Kawhi Leonard would miss the 2017 preseason as he continues to recover from right quadriceps tendinopathy.

The Spurs said it's unclear when he will be able to play.

Leonard's 2016-2017 season came to an end after suffering an injury against the Golden State Warriors.
