SAN ANTONIO – The creator of the incredibly popular 'Pokémon Go' has announced that they intend to make a new "Harry Potter" augmented reality game, set to be released in 2018.
The San Francisco-based company Niantic Labs said they have teamed up with Warner Bros and writer/creator JK Rowling to make the newest version.

The new game, titled Harry Potter: Wizards United" "will offer players a chance to “pioneer all new technology and gameplay mechanics”.

Niantic Labs did not officially say when the game will be released but early reports indicate it will be available sometime in 2018.
“By exploring real-world neighborhoods and cities across the globe, players will go on adventures, learn and cast spells, discover mysterious artifacts, and encounter legendary beasts and iconic characters,” the company said in the release on Wednesday.
Niantic said they will develop the game along with Warner Bros Interactive and Portkey Games.
