“No Time to Die” is proving a song very much alive at awards shows.

The city of San Antonio’s Martin Luther King Jr. Commission and the Department of Arts & Culture are seeking artwork submissions for the 7th Annual Citywide Art Contest.

Comfort, Texas – Paintings, jewelry, textiles and much more will be on display at this year’s Comfort Art Festival. The festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 19. Artist displays will be featured outside Comfort restaurants, boutiques, specialty stores and antique shops throughout the downtown area. “The Comfort Art Festival has become a Hill Country tradition,” Julie Kuykendall, the event organizer said. "The Art Festival is a wonderful way for shoppers to learn more about Hill Country artists and build their personal art collections and for our merchants to support these artists who inspire us all by capturing the spirit and beauty of the Hill Country in their work.”More than a dozen artists will be participating in the event.

Luminaria and the City of San Antonio’s Department of Arts and Culture have put together the Corona Arts Relief Program to help each artist with $600 during this time when so many people are out of work. “All the theater work, I had a show at the Woodland Theater, recently, that I was music directing and it got postponed,” Ramirez said.
