LIPAN, Texas – Deputies found the body of a missing 28-year-old North Texas man in a wooded area after he was killed in a suspected mountain lion attack, the Hood County Sheriff’s Office said Saturday. Christopher Whiteley, who was reported missing on Dec. 2, was found around 3:30 p.m. Thursday in a wooded area near the 15000 block of Howell Road in Lipan, Texas. After canvassing the area, the deputies found Whiteley’s body, the sheriff’s office said. The sheriff’s office has contacted a governmental trapper with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Texas Game Wardens, who are now working to locate the mountain lion. Residents in the Lipan area are urged to be mindful of their surroundings and should keep their young children and pets indoors at night out of precaution in the meantime, the sheriff’s office said.

SAN ANTONIO – Two south Texas brothers are desperate for answers after they say their mother, who is homeless and schizophrenic, was found severely beaten in the downtown area of San Antonio, not far from Haven for Hope. “An SAPD officer said it could have happened from her falling on the ground because they found her seizing out,” Matthew Bessey said, annoyed. “They need the proper help,” Matthew Bessey said. Matthew Bessey said he also demands the police to take his mother’s case seriously despite her being homeless. “The trauma surgeon and the doctors that told us everything,” Matthew Bessey said.

TUNIS Tunisian authorities say that they have arrested seven people suspected of involvement in a deadly weekend attack that left one security officer dead and another wounded. National guard spokesman Housameddine Jbabli said Monday on Radio Shems that seven suspects are being held by anti-terrorism authorities. The Islamic State group's Amaq agency carried a brief claim of responsibility on Monday for the attack. Among the seven detained is the wife of one of the dead attackers and the two brothers of another. Sousse was the site of Tunisias deadliest extremist attack in 2015, when a massacre killed 38 people, most of them British tourists.
