"We are really excited to bring this to the community.”In 2020, Bexar County gave out $11.75 million in small business loans and grants, assisting 850 small businesses and retaining 500 employees, according to Bexar County Strong. There’s a lot of funding available for our community members to tap into.”Bexar County residents who live in unincorporated Bexar County or in one of the 26 suburban cities within Bexar County limits are qualified for these programs. Bexar County is currently distributing financial assistance to qualified county residents through the Coronavirus Relief Fund. These programs are a partnership between Bexar County, Workforce Solutions Alamo, Project Quest, SA Works and other local organizations. TRAM funds are administered by the Housing Authority of Bexar County. Bexar County Small Business, Restaurant and Bar Business Emergency FundThis new $4 million program will provide COVID-19 relief grants that are intended to support an inclusive and diverse restaurant and bar business environment within Bexar County.
