A Kerr County man pleaded guilty Wednesday in a drunk driving crash that killed four Thin Blue Line Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club members in July 2020.

A Thin Blue Line Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club member who was hit by a suspected drunken driver nearly two weeks ago died Friday, marking the fourth death in connection to the incident. (Thin Blue Line Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club)On the day of the crash, deputies arrested Ivan Robles Navejas, 28. He was charged with four counts of intoxication assault with a vehicle and three counts of intoxicated manslaughter with a vehicle. Due to Lazo’s death, it is likely one of the intoxication assault charges will be upgraded to intoxication manslaughter. Robles Navejas also has a pending aggravated assault charge stemming from a 2018 incident in Bexar County, court records showed.

KERR COUNTY, Texas – Three people were killed and nine others critically injured after a crash on Highway 16, involving members of the Thin Blue Line Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, according to the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office. The crash occurred Saturday afternoon on Highway 16, south of Kerrville. KCSO said in a Facebook post that the motorcycle club was on a ride in the Texas Hill Country, celebrating the club’s birthday, when another driver crossed the center line, leading to the crash. Three people were killed and nine others were hospitalized in critical condition, officials said. The driver that crossed the center stripe was arrested and is facing several charges of intoxicated manslaughter and intoxication assault, according to the KCSO.
