AdClimate scientists and climate policy experts largely welcomed Biden's international overture on climate negotiations, especially the outreach to China. Biden and other administration officials have been stressing U.S. climate intentions during early one-on-one talks with foreign leaders, and Biden climate envoy John Kerry has focused on diplomacy abroad to galvanize climate efforts.

Authorities would not immediately say if the person found was Rivera, but said the day after she disappeared that they believed she drowned in the lake northwest of Los Angeles. Rivera had experience boating on the lake in Los Padres National Forest, authorities said. Surveillance video shows Rivera and her son, Josey Hollis Dorsey, leaving on the rented boat. The boy, Riveras son from her marriage to actor Ryan Dorsey, was safe and healthy and with family members, authorities said.
