The new SAISD start date for in-person Athletics is Oct. 5.SAISD officials said the decision was made based on Metro Healths assessed risk level for schools. We are still monitoring the data and once the numbers show its truly safe we will consider bringing our students for practice, a South San district spokesperson said. SAISD and Edgewood ISD schools play football in the same 5A district.

Arkansas State cut the lead in half when Cockfield hit a pair of free throws and nailed a three-point shot from the left wing. Shead closed out the game with two more free throws to make the final score 84-74.
