Maci Currin, of Cedar Park, Texas, will make an appearance in the 2021 Guinness Book of World Records for having the world’s longest legs for a female, and for having the longest legs as a teenager, according to the world records' website. She’s 6 feet, 10 inches tall and Guinness says her legs account for 60% of her total height. Currin says she hopes her new world record helps other tall women appreciate their height, rather than shy away from what makes them unique. Residents of a suburb near Austin, Texas, were told to stay indoors early Monday as police surrounded a home where a man was barricaded inside with three of his family members after three officers were shot hours earlier. Harmon said that when officers arrived they were met with gunfire and taken to a local hospital. We want to end this peacefully for everyone involved, Harmon said Sunday, making a plea to the unidentified suspect. Harmon said that the Cedar Park Police Department has a history at the residence, but did not provide details, including when police last visited the home. AUSTIN Three Cedar Park police officers were shot and are now hospitalized after responding to a house call, according to Cedar Park police. Her campaign paid the loan back last month. Mann said her campaign paid the money back, and her most recent campaign finance report verifies that on June 23 her campaign paid the bank $28,600 in an itemized disbursement labeled "Paycheck Protection Program." Disclosure: The Texas Tribune, as a nonprofit local newsroom and a small business, applied for and received a loan through the Paycheck Protection Program in the amount of $1,116,626.
