A Belarusian track coach who tried to force a sprinter to return home from the Tokyo Olympics after she was critical of the team has been charged with breaching the sport’s integrity standards.

The charges filed against a teenager who was shot by a now former-SAPD officer have been dismissed, according to Bexar County District Attorney Joe Gonzales.

A man facing 12 charges related to the promotion of child pornography has been indicted, according to the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office.

El Shafee Elsheikh and Alexanda Kotey are two of four men who were dubbed “the Beatles” by the hostages because of the captors' British accents. The charges are a milestone in a yearslong effort by U.S. authorities to bring to justice members of the group known for beheadings and barbaric treatment of aid workers, journalists and other hostages in Syria. “If you have American blood in your veins or American blood on your hands, you will face American justice,” said Demers, the department's top national security official. The indictment charges the men in connection with the deaths of four American hostages — Foley, journalist Steven Sotloff and aid workers Peter Kassig and Kayla Mueller — as well as European and Japanese nationals who were also held captive. In July 2014, according to the indictment, Elsheikh described to a family member his participation in an IS attack on the Syrian Army.

SAN ANTONIO A man is facing charges after leading deputies on a chase in northeast Bexar County overnight, according to the Bexar County Sheriffs Office. The incident happened around 4:30 a.m. Saturday at the corner of Montgomery Drive and Windrock Drive. A vehicle almost hit another vehicle at the corner of Glen Mont and a deputy witnessed the incident, officials said. The deputy got out of the vehicle and noticed the suspect was climbing out of the rolled vehicle, officials said. The passenger in the vehicle was also taken into custody and will be charged with possession of marijuana, officials said.

SAN ANTONIO – One man is now behind bars after investigators said he pulled a knife on his wife. Back in September of last year, Braulio Garcia, 49, went to pick up his wife from work and while driving home, accused her of cheating on him, according to an arrest affidavit. Authorities said Garcia told his wife to stop driving and threatened her with a three-inch knife. Affidavit: Man shot, robbed of truck was lured by 17-year-old girl via social mediaAfter arriving home, she was able to escape and run to a family member’s home for help, according to an affidavit. Garcia was arrested and is now facing a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
