The father of the children, Derrick Deloach, Sr., 41, has been arrested. He told deputies that he left the car running — and the children sleeping inside the car — while he shopped at a Family Dollar for about 10 minutes.

The San Antonio Police Department arrested a driver on suspicion of driving while intoxicated with a minor in the passenger seat.

Danielle and Paul Kinsey are in custody, each facing four counts of endangering four children with horrendous living conditions at an apartment on the Northeast Side, according to the Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar.
