Last season, veteran offensive lineman Chuma Edoga started in place of Cowboys’ great Tyron Smith on four different occasions. This season, Edoga could be a mainstay on the offensive line after Dallas lost Smith in free agency after 13 seasons with the Cowboys.

The Dallas Cowboys are bringing back defensive end Dante Fowler and running back Rico Dowdle while adding two outside free agents for depth in running back Ronald Jones and lineman Chuma Edoga.

A person with direct knowledge of the deal tells The Associated Press the New York Jets and offensive tackle Duane Brown have agreed to terms on a two-year contract.
