A downtown bar announced its future closure after 25 years of serving as a place where rock music fans could enjoy a drink while listening to music.

Weathered Souls Brewing Company will close September 22.

SAN ANTONIO – Schools sit empty amid the coronavirus pandemic, but that doesn’t mean they still can’t be put to good use. Margil Academy is currently being used by Haven for Hope to help house the homeless while complying with social distancing protocols. The school said the groups of people will be brought in through an entrance that allows them access to the gym and cafeteria and won't be allowed outside the restricted areas. Fifty-five individuals will be shuttled each evening and will leave the facility in the morning. Haven for Hope said staff members and clients will be screened for symptoms every daym and the areas will be disinfected daily.

As previously stated, Toyota intends to gradually resume its manufacturing operations in compliance with federal health and safety guidelines, and local and state ordinances where our facilities are located. Toyota plants, including the one in San Antonio, will reopen “in compliance with federal health and safety guidelines,” according to a statement. We will continue to follow all safety guidelines and monitor vehicle demand as we carefully ramp up production.”The Toyota plants temporarily closed in late March.

EAGLE PASS, Texas – The Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel will close at 2 a.m. Thursday for 15 days to prevent the spread the coronavirus. Officials will re-evaluate reopening April 3 based on “current information.”“The health and safety of our guests and team members is of paramount importance. All casino team members will be on paid administrative leave during this time. COVID-19, the respiratory disease caused by the new virus, stands for coronavirus disease 2019.
