A hefty 40% of scholarships are awarded through the livestock, horse show and junior contests. The cancellation of the carnival isn’t the only change for the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo. The rodeo, livestock and horse show schedules for 2021 have been released are available below:The Charreada event will also go on as planned on Feb. 28 at 2 p.m.

Read full article: San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo announces plans for 2021SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo has announced that it will take place in 2021 despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, a press release said Thursday. The rodeo will take place Feb. 11-28 at the Freeman Coliseum. The rodeo was previously held at the coliseum from 1950 to 2003 when the SBC Center (now AT&T Center) was built. A press release said they will continue to host exhibitors from throughout the state to compete in agriculture events and will continue to try to educate the youth of Texas. The carnival is also returning for patrons to enjoy, the press release said.
