A Houston family paid for a billboard to express their frustration over delayed justice in their loved one's case. Gabriel Gallegos was killed in a wrong way driver crash in 2020, the family says the case has still not gone to trial and they expect the suspect will face the minimum punishment if any at all. The suspect is out on bond.

On Sept. 18, Lozano helped get a stalled 18-wheeler out of the road near I-35 and South Loop 1604 when the suspected drunk driver hit her patrol car as she was exiting. Flores said she’s walking with help, but she’s still in a lot of pain. He didn’t want to get arrested.”Flores says Lozano is in good spirits, eager to make a quick recovery and return to work. She’s very good, a good officer,” Flores said.
