Federal law enforcement officers arrested eight suspects in San Antonio, Houston and Corpus Christi areas on drug trafficking charges, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Texas.

Atascosa County sheriff’s deputies arrested two brothers during a drug bust that started as an investigation into cannabis THC products and other drugs making their way into a Poteet ISD campus, according to Sheriff David Soward.

Authorities searched two separate locations for drugs, cash, and firearms earlier this week and they found what they were looking for -- including the teen responsible for allegedly stashing them.

Two men and two juveniles were arrested after a bust at a drug house on the East Side, according to Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar.

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police say they have once again recovered drugs and arrested several people at what they describe as a problem house on the Northwest Side. The Dangerous Assessment Response Team, or DART, seized meth and arrested at least five people at the home near Rustic Lane and Sandstone Street. "For aggravated assaults and drug possessions, and it has been a problem in this neighborhood for quite some time,” said Officer Steve Beilstein, with the San Antonio Fear Free Environment unit. The last time police went out to the home in July, they found meth, weapons, homemade pipe bombs and an improvised grenade. Beilstein said the latest bust is also linked to another drug operation on Tioga Drive, not far from the house near Rustic Lane and Sandstone Street.

KENEDY, Texas – Three suspects were arrested Wednesday in an H-E-B parking lot in Kenedy after an investigation led to the seizure of 604 grams of crystal meth, according to Karnes County Sheriff’s Office.
