A man accused of killing a man who was reported missing from his home in March 2021 was found guilty of murder on Monday, according to Schertz police.

Although police wrote in April 2021 court documents they were investigating Ethan Beckman for murder, it has taken until this month for him to be formally charged with the crime.

A Guadalupe County Grand Jury indicted a man for murder and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence related to the death of Jacob Dubois.

Human remains found in Comal County have been identified as a man who disappeared 18 months ago in the area, according to the Schertz Police Department.
