ORLANDO, Fla. (Ivanhoe Newswire) – December is National Impaired Driving Prevention Month. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, in December 2018, 839 people died in alcohol-related crashes, and 35 of them were on Christmas day. As the holiday parties get going, it is important to take precautions to make sure this holiday stays happy. Drunk driving deaths represent around a third of all traffic fatalities, and increases to nearly 50% on December 24th and 31st.
