Fiesta royalty, supporters, and local dignitaries are gathering Tuesday at the Estancia Del Norte Hotel for Fiesta Media Day to usher in the 2025 Fiesta season.
Steve Rosenauer, Executive Director of the Fiesta San Antonio Commission, joined Leading SA this weekend to discuss how it went and plans for future Fiestas.

SAN ANTONIO – The COVID-19 pandemic is crashing San Antonio’s biggest party for the second year in a row. Fiesta San Antonio officials confirmed Monday that the event that was scheduled for April 15-25 would be postponed until June 17-27, 2021. The Fiesta Commission said the decision was made based on recommendations from Metro Health and City of San Antonio officials. “We are deeply appreciative of the Fiesta San Antonio Commission’s willingness to work with the city’s health professionals to ensure San Antonian’s safety,” Nirenberg said. SAN ANTONIO – The Fiesta San Antonio Commission said it will be working with a public health expert as the organization moves forward with plans to host Fiesta 2021, currently set for April 15-25. “The safety of attendees, volunteers and staff are an important prerequisite.”Makary has assisted H-E-B and the San Antonio Spurs with their decision making to address COVID-19 related issues, according to the organization. 1 priority, which is why the Fiesta San Antonio Commission sought the expert advice from Dr. Makary,” the organization said in a released statement. “In consultation with city of San Antonio and Metro Health officials and Dr. Makary, the commission’s goal is to provide its PMOs support to assist them in their decision-making process.
