Every month during the school year, KSAT has been recognizing educators, who have been nominated by you — our viewers.

An annual teacher Thanksgiving drive is dedicated to helping local educators have food on the table during the holidays.

Elyssa Fields, a special education teacher at Langley Elementary School, is KSAT’s October Educator of the Month. She works with students from three to five years old.

Two employees with the San Antonio Independent School District’s Transportation Department both jumped into action on a cold morning, saving a toddler’s life.

The KSAT team has been working to shine on local educators and this month, KSAT and Firstmark Credit Union are recognizing Jefferson High School CTE teacher Todd Owens as KSAT’s Educator of the Month.
