Automotive, cybersecurity, and aerospace manufacturers gathered at the Freeman Expo Hall on Wednesday for the 23rd Annual South Central Texas Manufacturing Trade Show and Conference.

The kid-friendly concept is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for families and children to make memories together in various rejuvenating activities, including themed activities and story times.

Based on their experiences there, several volunteers at the Freeman Coliseum Expo Hall said they were surprised by Gov. Greg Abbott’s announcement Wednesday that Texas Rangers are investigating possible abuse and other “credible” allegations at the facility.
