Circle K announced a special holiday deal ahead of Thanksgiving.

The current average gas price in the state is $2.78 for unleaded fuel, two cents less than last week and 65 cents less than last year.

If there was ever a time to gas up, National Fuel Day just might convince you. Circle K is offering customers up to 40 cents off per gallon on Thursday ahead of the Memorial Day weekend.

On Thursday, Feb. 8, drivers can save 40 cents per gallon on fuel from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.Customers can also purchase $1 hot dogs from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. at participating Circle K stores across Texas on Thursday.
