A group of veterans are taking a trip to the nation’s capital on Friday as part of Honor Flight San Antonio.

Honor Flight San Antonio took 20 veteran men and women to see military memorials built in honor of their service.

Retired veterans who served in separate wars across generations are on what they call a “trip of a lifetime”.

Honor Flight San Antonio is a nonprofit organization who says their mission is to take every willing and able hero to see the memorials in the nation’s capital.
