The San Antonio Brahmas stormed back in the final minutes to defeat the Houston Roughnecks on Mother’s Day.

Before the XFL season began, San Antonio Brahmas head coach Hines Ward embraced the intra-state rivalry between the three Texas teams in the revamped league. The Brahmas’ first chance to earn bragging rights came Sunday night in Houston, but the hometown Roughnecks had other plans.
