A night that was supposed to be full of fun tricks and lots of treats ended with an unexpected scare.

The San Antonio Fire Department said one person is dead and three other people are injured after a car struck an 18-wheeler from behind on Wednesday night.

On Sunday night, crews will work on the northbound lanes of I-35 between O'Connor Road and Pat Booker Road.

For the first time, drivers on the Northeast Side will be able to view real-time traffic through the TransGuide lens.

Traffic remains at a crawl on the far Northeast Side as construction work has been extended due to equipment issues.

Residents tried to fight flames at their Northeast Side home on Friday morning after their neighbors alerted them about a fire in the attic.

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police and Crime Stoppers have released surveillance footage of two cars that they say were involved in a shooting that killed an Army veteran last week. According to Crime Stoppers, two cars were seen speeding off from the scene. A four-second surveillance video was released in an effort to identify the suspects and their vehicles. Crime Stoppers is willing to pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person, or persons, involved. SAN ANTONIO – A man found dead inside a bullet-riddled car on a Northeast Side street has been identified by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office. Authorities said Bernard Allen Terry, 27, suffered a gunshot wound to the head around 3:30 a.m. Sunday on Judson Road near George Cooper Street. San Antonio police previously said officers responded to the scene and found the car stopped in the middle of the street. The car was sprayed with several bullet holes, police said. Details surrounding the shooting remain unclear at this time.

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio homicide investigators are working to solve the murder of a man found in a bullet-riddled car in the middle of a Northeast Side street. Officers responded to Judson Road near George Cooper Street around 3:30 a.m. Sunday and noticed the vehicle stopped in the middle of the street. They say the car had several bullet holes in it, and inside the vehicle, they found a man who had been shot. SAN ANTONIO – Emergency crews had to help remove a man who became pinned inside his vehicle during a crash on the city’s Northeast Side late Wednesday night, San Antonio police said. According to police, a red sedan and a minivan collided after one of the vehicles went over a lane line. Police said the male driver of the sedan was pinned inside his vehicle and was rescued by firefighters. The San Antonio Police Department, the San Antonio Fire Department, and EMS all answered the call. The driver of the minivan and three children were not injured.
