Helotes and Grey Forest residents are asking for more voices to join their cause to stop the legal dumping of millions of gallons of treated wastewater just miles from the Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone.

The Greater Edwards Aquifer Alliance is working to protect the drinking water for the region, but the task is growing more difficult as Texas sees a boom in high-density development.

People living in Grey Forest are concerned about plans for a new subdivision that could impact not only the Helotes creek, but also the Edwards Aquifer.
