Designs for the Whataburger-themed Loteria set were shared on Instagram over the weekend and show cards with names like “La Doble U” and “El Taquito.”In total, 36 Whataburger Loteria cards are available for download. Hispanic Heritage Month kicked off on Sept. 15 and ends Thursday. It started as National Hispanic Heritage Week in 1968 and was expanded to a month-long celebration in 1988, according to USembassy.gov. Download your Loteria tablas and cards here.

Since the first card came out he’s created over a dozen more. Other cards include “La Botella” depicting a bottle of hand sanitizer, “El Hoarder” showing rolls of toilet paper and “El Homeskool” depicting a tablet. “Our SA community relates to Loteria and it brings a sense of comfort, family, and fun during all of this,” Gonzales said. "We're bringing props and this beautiful collection of skulls," said Javier Ruiz Galindo, CEO of the Day of the Dead Parade San Antonio. Full Screen 1 / 17"(Loteria is) the game we play in Mexico," said Montserrat Oliver, spokeswoman for the Day of the Dead San Antonio. The river parade also serves as the grand opening of Day of the Dead San Antonio, launching the festival with a special ceremony afloat a barge as the parade kicks off. Day of the Dead San Antonio makes its debut this fall as a citywide celebration with a full slate of events never before experienced in San Antonio.
