A San Antonio-area resident has claimed a $17.5 million Lotto Texas jackpot prize.

An Austin resident is starting the new year off right — with millions of dollars.

Two Texans woke up as millionaires on Thursday after winning over $8 million combined following Wednesday night’s lottery drawings.

After months without anyone hitting all six numbers, a single winner is taking home the top prize for Lotto Texas.

The top prize for Lotto Texas has continued to grow since September 2022 with the estimated jackpot now sitting at $73 million.

Lotto Texas jackpot is currently fourth-largest lottery prize in the world.

The top prize for Lotto Texas has grown into the game’s largest jackpot in more than 12 years after 76 consecutive drawings without a winner.

SAN ANTONIO – It was a great start to 2021 for one San Antonio resident who won the $5.5 million Lotto Texas jackpot on Jan. 20. The person, who has elected to remain anonymous, chose the cash value option and will receive $4,397,867.63 before taxes. The ticket was purchased at Allsups #102247, located at 907 N.
