Once they canceled the high school season, I immediately switched to college and getting ready for UCLA.”Luckily, Martinez has been able to establish an effective daily routine despite restrictions placed on facilities and personnel. It’s markedly different -- and more intense -- than her high school training.

Hoffman, who went on to play football for West Texas A&M University, had a bullet wound to his upper body. Former Madison HS football star killed in shooting in San AntonioVisitation for Hoffman will take place from 5-7 p.m. Thursday and noon-1 p.m. Friday at True Vision Church Northeast, located at 2826 Ackerman Road, according to his obituary. Hoffman’s mother, Tiffanne Jackson, wrote on Twitter that the family wants to start a “Work Son” scholarship in his name.
