The renowned Michelin Guide wrapped up its first trip through Texas. The guide, recognized for its best and must-try cuisine, has honored 117 restaurants in Texas and 13 in San Antonio.

The first Michelin Guide Texas was released this week, and it included 117 restaurants spanning 26 different cuisines.

San Antonio has always been known for its flavorful food. And now, after Mixtli received a Michelin Star, the Alamo City will be getting a lot more attention when it comes to the restaurant scene.

Tuesday morning, all of Texas was talking about the Michelin Guide, Michelin Star, Bib Gourmands, and where to find all these restaurants in their city or within a reasonable driving distance.

Numerous San Antonio restaurants were recognized in the Michelin Guide’s first Texas edition, including one of the state’s first Michelin stars.

This week, the Michelin Guide revealed its list of outstanding hotels in the United States. A San Antonio hotel earned one of the guide’s rarest distinctions.
