SAN ANTONIO – A West Side family is desperate for answers after the overnight disappearance of a 12-year-old girl. The parents of Amisty “Ammy” Monrreal called San Antonio police around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday to their home in the 200 block of Barrett Place. The girl’s older sister had noticed she wasn’t in her bedroom, and her parents noticed that her window was wide open. “She was taken out of her window,” said Roxanne Monrreal-Pena, her mother. “That’s what I’m concerned about,” Roxanne Monrreal-Pena said.
