A mosquito pool in San Antonio has tested positive for West Nile Virus, according to the City of San Antonio Metropolitan Health District.

There are many popular theories for why someone might be a preferred snack, including blood type, blood sugar level, or being a woman or child. Yet there is little credible data to support most of these theories.

The study consisted of 64 volunteers wearing nylon sleeves and being exposed to a variety of mosquitos on their arms in a glass chamber for six hours.
