SAN ANTONIO – Austin police said Monday morning a woman who went missing on Mother’s Day has been found. Iliana Salinas, a woman in her 30s, was last seen around 8 a.m. at her home in the 4900 block of Menchaca Road, according to media reports. She was reported missing just before noon, according to KVUE. Police did not say where she was found or provide any additional details on the case. They posted the update indicating Salinas was found around 8 a.m. Monday.

SAN ANTONIO – Three healthy puppies made their way into the world on Mother’s Day, all in San Antonio, according to San Antonio Pets Alive! The mother of the puppies, Jackie, a 1-year-old American Staffordshire blend, was first rescued by SAPA in the beginning of April. Jackie has been receiving care from her foster mom Amy ever since she was first brought in, SAPA said. 3 healthy puppies born in San Antonio, just in time for Mother’s Day (San Antonio Pets Alive!) According to SAPA, Jackie went into labor early Friday morning and delivered all three of the puppies.

SAN ANTONIO – Mother’s Day will be even more memorable this year for one local couple. When Ausenett was hospitalized, the couple thought their wedding plans would have to be put on hold. That is, until nurses at St. Luke’s were able to put together a ceremony that was officiated via Zoom. According to St. Luke’s, nurses made flower bouquets out of tissue paper, signs and served as Ausenett’s bridesmaids. After the ceremony, nurses also provided entertainment during the wedding reception, which featured a dance to “Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I’m Yours,” by Stevie Wonder.
