Lynn Holzman, NCAA VP of womenās basketball, admitted the NCAA and womenās committee fell short in some areas of preparation prior to the tournamentās start on Sunday. āWe need to make it doesnāt happen again, and we will address the shortfalls here in San Antonio and moving forward,ā King said. āWeāre trying to do the right thing and weāve adjusted on the fly now that weāre here in San Antonio,ā Holzman said. It will be played in three San Antonio locations, Austin and San Marcos.

Tickets for the general public go on sale at 9 a.m. on Thursday for regional games, which are the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 rounds. Tickets for the first two rounds of the womenās tournament will not be made available to the general public. Those games will be played March 21 to 24 in three San Antonio locations, Austin and San Marcos. Each Womenās Final Four fan cutout purchased earns an entry to win tickets to the 2022 Womenās Final Four.
