But, in the final weeks of the campaign, the Supreme Court vacancy is threatening to inflame old divides.
The Constitution doesn't mandate the number of Supreme Court justices, which has changed over time.
āVoting for Joe Biden is not about whether you agree with him.
āThis is not just an election between Donald Trump and Joe Biden," Sanders said.
