Volunteers from across San Antonio gathered Monday at the Boeing Center at Tech Port Arena to assemble 5,000 care packages for recent recruit graduates of Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland.

The White House says it's getting ready to welcome 40,000 people to its annual Easter Egg Roll.

A token of appreciation for those who serve and protect, right here in Military City USA. Volunteers began packing five thousand care packages for new airmen and first responders at Tech Port Arena on Monday.

Operation Gratitude will be assembling and providing 3,000 care packages for JBSA-Lackland’s newest airmen and guardians in February.
