Authorities have identified a woman who was hit and killed on Interstate 37 on the Southeast Side last week.

People in a Southeast Side neighborhood are getting the word out about a group of wild hogs that are roaming the streets.

A man was uncooperative with police after suffering a head and neck injury that police suspect was the result of a shooting on the Southeast Side on Thursday morning.

San Antonio police are investigating an apparent road-rage shooting between drivers on a busy East Side roadway.

SAN ANTONIO – This past August, the KSAT Defenders were contacted by viewer Steve Rico who had questions about some new wheelchair ramps that were being installed in his Southeast Side neighborhood. ”What bothered me was because they hadn’t fixed the street and they were spending all this money on all of these wheelchair ramps and they didn’t lead to nowhere,” Rico said. “I mean, some of the ramps, the wheelchair ramp is here but there’s grass on both sides. These wheelchair ramps have been replaced several times, but we’ve never seen sidewalks,” Rico said. “So when the original developer of this neighborhood put in (the original ramps), I don’t know what he did it for.

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are trying to find a driver who hit and killed a 75-year-old man as he crossed a street on the city’s Southeast Side. The crash happened around 10 p.m. Thursday at Pecan Valley Drive and Goliad Road. Witnesses told police the man had just left a convenience store in the area and was crossing the street when a dark-colored SUV hit him. They say the vehicle was last seen heading north on Goliad Road. As of early Friday morning, the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office had not released the name of the man who was killed.

SAN ANTONIO San Antonio police are investigating after a driver lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a pole and then a fence overnight. The incident occurred just after 3 a.m. in the 2600 block of Pecan Valley Drive, not far from Roland Road and Rigsby Avenue on the citys East Side. According to police, the male driver for an unknown reason lost control of their vehicle and wrecked. Police said the crash into the pole has knocked power lines down. The San Antonio Police Department, the San Antonio Fire Department, and CPS all have answered the call.

SAN ANTONIO A man who was cut in the arm during an altercation was uncooperative with officers and was taken to an area hospital for his wound, San Antonio police said. According to police, the man got into a fight with someone when he was cut in the arm. Police said the victim ran to a Circle K convenience store across the street to call for help, but the man was uncooperative with officers, so they dont know much about the attack. The injured man was taken to University Hospital in stable condition. Police did not say why the altercation occurred.
