After the Bexar County Sheriff's Office raided a cockfighting event on a tip, an animal advocate said it highlights the need for the community to speak up.

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said it conducted a raid during a cockfighting event on Saturday.

Ten people were taken into custody during a drug raid of a home that has been hit by law enforcement at least four times this year, according to Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar.
